INDIANA: A marathon, themed superhero is planned to be hosted at Green-Castle Park coming November 5th.
The Marathon is aimed at helping Nolan O’Hair. A young kid aged seven, who is diagnosed with developmental delay and ASD.
Nolan’s family is further looking ahead to purchase an autism service dog, which is well-trained to assist autistic children.

Nolan’s family is Organizing this Marathon as a Fundraiser for the Child
Ashley Lytle, Nolan’s mother, further adds he is one of the happy go lucky kids. She further insists the people who could meet him during marathon would feel the difference.
Ashley further comments Nolan is very much attached towards animals. He would love the presence of cats, horses, dogs and their presence soothed and calmed him. She felt this when Nolan wandered away from her and cuddled up with dog’s when lights went off.
This further confirmed Nolan was in need of an animal, a dog.
Ashley further says, they decided to do what they thought was the best. They thought Nolan was in need of a companion, a guide.
The family decided to get a dog, that would eventually become his best friend, which would make him happy and a peaceful bliss to the family.
Registrations to the marathon starts at 9 in the morning. The event is scheduled to start at 10 in the morning. Availability of food is in ample.
Further, attendees are encouraged to attend the event in the best of their costumes.
ASD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, is the name given to a developmental disorder. It further includes a spectrum of varied symptoms.
The disability levels vary from individual to individual. Few of them who tend to be diagnosed with ASD, have difficulty in communication as well as socializing with others.
Often, it is observed that individuals with ASD, have lesser interest in general activities.
The local community is looking forward to this event and efforts are in place to make this a success!

I am Ash and I celebrate Neurodiversity! Growing up with an elder brother with severe Autism was tough – but it has also taught me essential life lessons. I don’t believe that people with Autism are necessarily or have any disorder (except in extreme cases). They are just different! And that is something to be proud of! I am passionate about helping other families who may have Autism conditions in their family. So please reach out and drop me a note. I will be glad to help 🙂
